D&D General Beadle & Grimms Forgotten Realms Premium Map Collection

That is a good point too. Honestly Old Empires Region seems to fit Magic Inniate Cleric well and Arcane Empires Magic Inniate Wizard well, but they could still get new origin feats instead or Ritual Caster.
We see Magic Initiate Druid on Moonwell Pilgrim (Trackless Sea) and Magic Initiate Wizard on Genie Touched (Lands of Intrigue). Certainly possible we see some repeats but I would definitely bet one of the remaining options gives Magic Initiate Cleric.

High Imaskar was in the Old Empires Region, Mulhorand specifically and got banished to extradimesional spaces & the Desert of Desolation when Mulhorand returned.

Weirdly the area of the map that is colored for Arcane Empires does skim abit of Murghom I think.
I may be wrong, but it seems like the "Arcane Empires" cuts off part of Mulhorand, which makes me think the Imaskari may have held on to some of their territory, and/or are claiming some parts of the Plains of Purple Dust or old Raurin deserts.

I’m not a fan of the continent wide map if that is how it comes. Not enough detail and I don’t really like the art style.

However really I love the Myth Drannor map and really like that places like Shadowdale and Scardale are getting the Mike Schley treatment.

I’m hoping we get a mid detail map of the Dalelands alone. May be reaching but we can dream!

I really like this map pack and I think I'm going to buy it. I think there's room for it in my house...somewhere...

I've been going through old FR material available in glorious PDF on DriveThruRPG and one of the things I like about this map pack is that it's an evergreen product. I could play this with 1st Edition D&D or 17th Edition D&D and the maps are still good.

I like the idea of 19 battle maps to go with the 12 country maps. Not sure the $150.00 price though if I would get my money worth.

Nice map, not sure where it ties in with the books though.

Algarond (and weirdly Atumbel)
Not much on Atumbel over the years, but the Wiki says citing the Unapproachable East vok from 3.5:

"While many outsiders failed to make the distinction, the Altumbellan people saw themselves as a prominent nation separate from their neighbor Aglarond."

So as a nation, it is botb a minor note and primarily defined by being "we are not with these weird Sorcerer-followers over there..."
Anauroch is just an inhospitable desert and adjoining Glacier, inhabited by nomads and criss crossed by Caravans. Why this needed it's own region is unknown. Shade is shown in this region, even though it crashed on top of Myth Drannor (which is shown in the Heartlands).
Well, as one of the 10 regions that gets a Background, I guess something like "Bedine Nomad" is a major PC concept. Lots of room for adventure ture there, too.
I think the areas of the map labeled beyond among others will be covered in a Beyond section of Heroes of Faerun, just a guess
Yeah, I am sure there will be a Beyond section that gives a little bit about the South of Faerûn, and probably Kara-Tur etc.
