And all the rest.

Should we now ask whether you're from Australia, Austria, Liechtenstein or how that +2 belt to all stats helps your kitten?

Fine. Why isn't BAD an alignment?

Except for my Fochlucan Lyrist melee build, has anyone else a char close to being played right now that needs all 6 stats as high as possible?

I guess me & Ridley's Cohort', possibly others. Not you, obviously.
I mean nobody (in my correct opinion) is able to use all six.
A correct opinion?
Your insistence on a meaningless qualifier is noted.
Your insistence to dodge the question is noted.
That is why the universal creator gave us brain cells, that we might exercise them, and judgement, that we might utilise it, to arrive at a more useful and applicable result than by mere application of a sterile framework.
Sounds like rule 0.
You're trying to insert your opinion in the creation rules it seems.
Which has been given.
Which deviates from the rules with no justification except, "not everyone can use every bonus of it fully.".
Insert 7.5 billion chickens quote here.
Not familiar with it. Would you elaborate?
Because that's what the item gives you. Hint: we're talking about an item that specifically grants all six bonuses, not a custom "only the stats I need" item. Thinking up reasons why such a custom item might not be freely craftable is an exercise left to the reader.
If you're commissioning that an item be built, why not ask for a custom item with only the abilities you need? In this case, it's not so custom, as all the magic item abilities exist with relevant costs. You simply add them together.
Really? I thought it was a large fluffy rodent.
That may be why your posts seem snarky & irreverant, without contributing meaningfully.

The headband of perfect excellence from Sword & Fist? Its price looks spot-on:

36000 (belt of Strength +6) +
36000 (gloves of Dexterity +6) +
36000 (periapt of Wisdom +6) =
108,000gp

18000 (adding gloves' ability to first item) +
18000 (adding periapt's ability to first item) +
18000 (Strength item in headband slot) +
18000 (Dexterity item in headband slot) =
72,000gp

108,000 + 72,000 = 180,000gp

Balancewise, it usually does not make much sense to add in both "additional power" costs on top of "slot affinity" costs.

It is trivial to just say "Hey, Wizzie! Just add the Str and Dex boost to my Gloves of Storing, you dope!" and same a bunch of lucre.

You call it "Spot on". I call it somebody who probably threw 36,000 gp down the toilet due to an obsession to confrom with an inherently inexact method of cacluating cost.

Such things are, indeed, possible.

Your insistence to dodge the question is noted.

No, dearie, you're the one who is dodging the question. I am merely dragging it back on track, bleating notwithstanding.

Sounds like rule 0.

You say this like it's a negative thing.

You're trying to insert your opinion in the creation rules it seems.

No, dearie. I am stating that the creation rules are irrelevant to what is truly important. Well, what's truly important unless you're an accountant.

Which deviates from the rules with no justification except, "not everyone can use every bonus of it fully.".

In other words, with the exact justification needed. THANK YOU, HE'LL BE HERE ALL WEEK.

Not familiar with it. Would you elaborate?

Do your own homework.

If you're commissioning that an item be built, why not ask for a custom item with only the abilities you need?

Because that's not the item that's under discussion. Do try to stay on topic.

In this case, it's not so custom,

Ah. This must be some new meaning of "custom" that I wasn't previously aware of.

as all the magic item abilities exist with relevant costs. You simply add them together.

Note the critical importance of the article "you", and the agent to which it is meant to be applied.

That may be why your posts seem snarky & irreverant, without contributing meaningfully.

Yes, that's what they all say.

PS. 3.0.

I do have a char who needs all 6 stats.

I had a char who used all 6 stats, too.

Elven Bladesinger: Str was important for offense, dex and con for defense, int for magic, wis for perception (and will saves), and cha because he was a leader.

Whoever can't handle 6 stats for his character is to be pitied. :p
