Berserk Anime/Manga?

The Skull Knight again eh? He does sound like one of the more interesting characters in the series. Too bad he's not in the anime.

Ah well, now I have to wait for vol 5 to come out. Should be interesting as this is the point where Griffith was just poisoned.

Anyone ever try to make a PC like Gatsu? I've had three players try so far but man, with his sheer power any effort to mimicik it makes it difficult I think.

Yeah, he EATS them. (shudder) If you complete the Dreamcast game, at the very, very end, after the credits, he shows up for a cameo.

Well, we can actually track Gatsu's career as he levels up over time in the series. Episode one is close to the present day, whereas episode two is some five to ten years in the past (scorch knows the time length better than I).

Gatsu prior to the Black Sun event is probably originally a fighter, gains a few levels of barbarian along the way, and then returns to pure fighter (following all those feat chains) or perhaps a prestige class for "Strike Leader". Post-Black Sun event, Gatsu has gone into Epic Fighter levels, and is scary as hell.

That's another thing I like about the series. We see him gaining in power, similiar to the old Record of the Lodoss Wars where the characters aren't just blasting the universe off the bat.

Looking forward to vol 5.

Anyone know if any publishers will be doing the manga over here? I'm surprised Dark Horse or Viz hasn't picked it up.
