Yep but no good unless you go constitution, and cleric 2nd stats are either Charisma or Strength or Dex if Elf.

So Dwarf as Cleric seems to have limited use, and certainly slows you down getting out of harms way.

Yeah, you know what? I don't buy it. Dwarven Clerics are awesome. With Wis 18/Cha 16/Con 14/Str 12/etc. post-racial, the Dwarf has one less point of healing or other benefits from the Cha-secondary powers and feats, but can take Dwarven Durability at Paragon, netting two extra surges and 2 more HP per surge (3 more at Epic), can MC into a martial class which gives Epic tier access to Epic Recovery, Stoneheart Warrior and Martial Resolve. Given that (from my experience) Clerics don't have as many good feat options as most other classes, those feats are a gold mine of survivability. Keep in mind that a Stunned Cleric can't keep up all those nice sustainable zones like Consecrated Ground -- Martial Resolve fixes that. (Note: some of this build can be achieved without being a Dwarf -- but with a Dwarf the synergy is notable.)

If that build doesn't appeal to you, fine.

Just keep in mind that since Healing Word lost its Divine keyword, it will no longer benefit from Pacifist Healer.


Also, Kalashtars not being available, I'd suggest going with humans, Heroic Effort is pretty good.
