Hey I rolled this character up, fair and square, right in front of him. He almost choked to death!

Str 11
Dex 18 (raised +1 by magic from 17 after performing a major service for the Church of Bane wiping out a Cyricist threat to Zhentil Keep)
Con 17
Int 19 (raised 1 point at 4th level)
Wis 15
Cha 15

The campaign isn't munchkin either. I hardly ever have any gold, I have hardly any magic items, and I am constantly living in fear for my life surrounded by total badasses who want to kill or manipulate me. Plus, I have two jobs: 1) running a slave labor prison camp during the day, and 2) running a cheap brothel by night. I don't get much sleep, and am forced to living on alchemical "speed" (4 hours sleep/night) to manage all this with little time for anything else. Did I mention lots of powerful people hate me? My mom says they're just jealous, LOL. :D

I second the 20 Quaal's Feather Token: Tree or the HHH.

Alternatively, a Cloak of Resistance +1 and a Pearl of Power (1st lvl). You can never have too many spells.

From Magic of Faeurn, the spellbook protections on p173 are nice. Of course, if you just leave your spellbook in your HHH it's not much of a problem.

If you're the outdoorsy (or generally non-city) type, the Travel Cloak (p. 166) is very nice for flavor purposes (the rest of the players were all jealous of my Travel Cloak last time I had one) and the price (1200g) can't be beat for all the cool stuff it provides.

But if you're looking for sheer munchkin purposes something else (A wand most likely) would be a good choice.

And of course, pick up a few spell scrolls to scribe into your book with whatever cash you've got left.

What would I do with 20 Quaal's tree tokens????
If you ever need to scale a wall, a tree makes a great ladder. Ditto if you fall into a pit.

If you need to block a door or a hallway, a rooted tree is extremely hard to move.

If you're able to fly, note that trees are large heavy objects and will hurt when they land on people.
