No Jedi, any reasons?

Most people consider Jedi to be closer to monks than paladins. Also, for most of D&D's history, paladin == LG, and I consider Jedi to be more LN as a whole. Yeah, they're supposed to be the good guys, but a lot of the time they don't act all that good ("I'm not here to free slaves").

This is going to maybe sound odd... but apart from the modern day setting, Dexter Morgan is an absolute morality lawful good paladin he helps gather evidence for crimes that don't need his skills, watches for truly despicable types, spends time and effort making sure his assessment is accurate because detect evil alone is not enough to separate a card shark from a wife beating murderer, and like a good little murderhobo pLly eliminates the evil.

For paladins, well the Dresden Files TV show didn't follow the books well but it was a tv show....
and Donald Morgan was a wizard/paladin by the books magic cop of magic cop paladins of the laaaaaw.

Fully waited for Cop Paladin subclass and Rogue Cop Paladin subclass.
