Best solo RPGs?

It feels like I've been seeing more solo RPGs in the past few years. Is that just me or is there a small renaissance in solo rpgs? Is it because of the pandemic, or some mechanical innovations in the rules?
I think yes to all of that, plus the Fighting Fantasy/Lone Wolf generation (Generation X) is now larger than the remaining Baby Boom generation, so there's increasing market influence for them.

A fairly large renaissance at this point, at least relatively speaking. More games the do things Poole would like to do, plus pandemic I wouldn’t have thought about Fighting Fantasy/Lone Wolf, but missed them as a teen/20s/whatever. I mostly think about how really well done gam3s like Ironsworn, Thousand Year Old Vampire, and Mythic GME 2e are.
