Kor. Calmly, almost kindly, genocidal. The most lawful evil of the Klingon villains to appear on the show. Koloth was a fun comedic villain on the other hand.

The Auld Grump

No M5? No Harcourt Fenton Mudd?

Anway, I vote Khan, followed by the Planet-Eating Space Log, or Doomsday Machine, as you quaintly refer to it (its not exactly an 'antagonist', but its pretty damn cool. Best use of threadbare FX budget evar!).

Khan Noonien Singh, of course. And what happened to that website with Kirk shouting "KHAAAAN!" in Flash anyway? I can't get it to come up.

Also gave props to my other two favorites, the Romulans and Mirror Spock. Yeah, the Klingons might be more popular, but the Romulans always make the best Trek villains. And Mirror Spock was cool.

While Khan was great and the best from the movies . I was always fascinated with the Romulans. I wish they had developed them more and did a different job with them in the later series.

The whole conversation between the Romulan Commander and Kirk is just awesome. They were showed to have a strong sense of honor something I think they did away later to make the klingons the more honorable race.

Not only were the Romulans the first Trek villians, they've always been one of the smartest, matched only by the Dominion. Klingons are mostly brute force, sure there are cunning Klingons every now and then, but they largely get used as "space orcs".

While I appreciate Khan, I had to go with the Romulans. They didn't show up often but, when they did, they were deadly, ruthless and a real threat. The Klingons... not quite as much.
