D&D 5E Best Third Party Adventures

After reading many conflicting opinions about the quality of WotC's hardcover adventures (a subject I think we can all agree is one that there probably won't be a consensus), it got me thinking: What are the best THIRD PART adventures written for D&D 5E? Heck, even Pathfinder 2e (since that's what I'm playing now after abandoning D&D after WotC's OGL shenanigans last year).

A lot of people aren't aware of how much 3PP stuff is out there and separate the wheat from the chaff is a Herculean task.

The best I have played is Moonshae adventures:

Another good one is Call From the Deep

Lairs of Etharis (available on D&D Beyond) is a hack and slash with little story that is good if that is what you are after.

A lot of people rave about Dungeons of Drakenhiem. I am most of the way through that adventure as a player. I have not been impressed and would not recommend it over the better WOTC products.

Odyssey of the Dragonlords by Modiphius Entertainment was an absolute blast. Awesome Greek mythology themed campaign that felt very in keeping with Jason and the Argonauts or The Odyssey.
I bought that one right after I finished Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and was on a Greek mythology kick (again; it was sort of my first exposure to heroic fantasy with the Harryhausen films and such). I haven't run it yet, but I'm glad to see it gets an endorsement.

Bless you!

I'm a big fan of the various Lair books by Kobold Press because they're so easy to drop into existing campaigns or run as location-based adventures:

Book of Lairs
Eldritch Lairs
Tome of Beasts 2 and 3 Lairs
Underworld Lairs
Creature Codex Lairs

Disclaimer, I've written a couple of lairs in the books above but I'd still love them even if I didn't.

My group just finished the Legendary Planet campaign from Legendary Games. I was the DM for it. It is a level 1 - 20 campaign that is D&D meets every sci-fi trope/show that exists. Stargate (especially), Aliens, etc. It was an absolute blast and is available in both 5E and Pathfinder 1E. We then moved from that campaign to me DM’ing Odyssey of the Dragonlords. The party is only level 2 (about to hit 3) and we are enjoying it immensely. I am a Greek mythology nut and I found that they do a really good job of incorporating that “Greek” feeling to it. I really like the way they tie all the PC’s to the storyline with the Epic Paths.
