D&D General BG3 Massive Spoiler Thread

I am a chronic restarter. It’s a problem.

On my latest restart, I’ve gotten as far as Rosymorn, with a bit extra done to start with. However, I’m worried that I messed something up with Shadowheart:

While Shadowheart is still romantically interested, she no longer says she might be a different person because of me. It’s like I lost some major approval, and, no matter what I do to gain approval, she won’t cross that threshold again.

Does anyone know if I messed up, or if she will still spare the Nightsong without that?

The cemetery in Baldur's Gate is dedicated to Kelemvor, so he is talked about significantly. You can play as a cleric as Kelemvor, there might be extra dialogue options.

The Dead Three never really "make a comeback" though, unless you choose the evil Dark Urge ending.

There are plenty of written references to Kelemvor as well (yes, I read nearly all the books I come across). There's also a Sunite sex manual and references to it by people using it.

Approval is just a number. You can see that number on like, the "third" character sheet. Tell us the number.

Then she likes you. You are overthinking it, even if she was neutral, you can persuade her to make the choice you want with persuasion checks.

Really, I don't know of any situations where Shadowheart has made the dark side choice without the player working very very hard to talk her into it.
She attacked my party when I tried to talk her out of it. IIRC there was a roll I had to succeed, and it failed. I reloaded and instead went along with killing Nightsong, and then she decided not to do it.

Did you try the "choose for yourself" option with no attempts at persuasion? There is a degree of contrarianism - if you try and persuade her to do what she would have done anyway, and fail, then she will do the opposite.
I don't recall the details, but you are probably right. I believe the second time there was no die roll with the dialogue choice I made.

Thank you!
