What? I thought everyone agreed that that movie didn't exist. ;)
I know, but after having watched it, I just can't seem to delete it from my mind. :(

It's because of that film I have not been able to watch the other Highlander sequels.

Well, you ain't really missin' much. Well, Endgame was allraight as
an episode of the Highlander TV series, a finale of sorts, but III is
even worse than II IMO. At least II had some originality.

But the II's originality is to put a futuristic spin to the Highlander tales. That turned me off.

BTW, does anyone have a comment on the Renegade version of Highlander II?

From what I hear the Renegade version takes all the 'criminals-
from-an-alien-planet' aspect out of the movie and replaces it with
an 'rebels-of-an-empire-predating-written-history', which to me,
just sounds somewhat of an improvement.

Still takes place in a cyberpunkish future though.

Is it just me, or is the human mind's nature really just to moan and groan?

Well, remember that it is far, far easier to moan and groan than it is to do something better yourself. :)

They replaced "Planet Ziest" with "a long long time ago" in the graphic, that really wasn't enough to save the movie, actually it just made it more confusing, if the movie did exist then it would be bad in any form, good thing it doesn't.

As far as bitching goes it's just cooler to hate everything, your such a rebel when you hate stuff. People like to gripe because they think it makes them look knowlegeable on the subject, see they can pick it apart in detail and tell you how it should be. Just remember that in the grand scheme of things thier opinion doesn't matter, they already voted a big yes for the movie when they bought their ticket, movie sucess is based on profit, they don't care if your there to make fun of it or to enjoy it they get paid either way. So who is the smart one here? Those same people who were griping about the Hulk will end up there opening night just so they can gripe at it some more.

Hey, I liked Highlander II. *Ducks to avoid all tomatoes* I even liked the renegade version, which is much better.

But I didn't like D&D: The Movie Bust. *perhaps that will slow down all the tomatoes being thrown at me* It was very very, ummmmmm.......... sucky. :)

How about this? Did any of you notice that in Matrix 2 all the people that were unplugged had all their black plugs back in their bodies but in the first movie they were all removed except for the one in the backs of their heads?????
