blacksway's site down?

i've been trying to get into blacksway's new monster site for the last few days, but it appears to be down. is the link on the main CC page broken, or is there something more to it? i was kind of hoping to post our new Riptide Horror there.

His site seems to be down. I havent been able to get a hold of him lately either.....

Arrgghhhh!

I go on holiday for 2 weeks and come back and an entire web company seems to have disappeared into the ether! (along with my website and database!)

I've been trying not to think about how to get the stuff back (I have the site but I've no idea what happened to the database!)

Ok- so there's how we get a hold of Blacksway.

Sam- I sent ya several emails, but all bounced back. I was beginning to wonder if ya had maybe been abducted by aliens or something.

Unfortunately it gets worse, but not as bad as it could be.

The people who owned the server have wiped them all, so no databases!

But google had cached a load of pages so I have rescued 45 monsters, but now I have to re-input them into a database!

Oh, and find some new hosting! (anyone? php/mysql, 50MB+, $10 a month or less!)

oh yuck, how lame... with luck, some people may still have their original works, while others may have made copies or printouts of them from which they can be restored. yeah, you do need a more reliable server space! about how much do you think you've managed to rescue so far?

Quick update:

Its taking an age to get my domain back as it was registered in the name of the now defunct company (big yuk!) but there is a chance I may managed to get hold of the database afterall (for a small fee, natch!)

Check out HostOnce.com. I use them for my webpage. Comes to about $5 or so per month

And I forgot to add, its pretty much unlimited space and they've got pretty decent customer service, to boot.
