D&D General Eberron fan wiki had hundreds of articles vandalized

Quote from the front page:

Last year, a former editor returned after a few years' absence and went rogue, adding or expanding hundreds of articles with text that turned out to be AI-generated, containing errors, altered meanings, and false information both subtle and significant. This was a major abuse of trust that took advantage of other editors' lack of time to play closer attention. We're now working hard to catch and clean up affected articles, which cover swaths of the wiki. You will see the page count going down drastically as we delete articles. You will also see pages with a notice warning of potentially inaccurate information; they are not necessarily false or containing AI, they are simply tagged but not yet checked and cleansed. As always, please confirm with sources where possible and consider helping us clean up. We thank you for your patience through this.

No serious wiki will ever accept AI-generated content. It's the death of creativity and truth and it should be scorned wherever it appears. We must fight the constructs together.

This is concerning news. The wiki was a valuable resource for the setting, and I hope that as much of the old articles get restored.

That really sucks! I've used that wiki plenty of times (and will no doubt use it again in the future, since I am currently running an Eberron campaign).
