Blight Makes Right (DM: TwoHeadsBarking. Judge: Lord Sessadore)

Thankful for the respite from the swarm alek moves over to Feyr and pours the oily liquid down his throat. He then throws a spear of energy at the swarm. The spear dives through the swarm slaughtering some and threatening to slaughter more.

[sblock=OOC]Since Yelder's got the better Heal bonus, would it be inappropriate for Adran to assist him, rather than the other way around?

I'll leave it to you to decide, and just make the rolls. :)

Adran's Heal check; Yelder's Heal check; Adran's save vs blindness: (1d20+2=7, 1d20+5=10, 1d20=15)

Academic, given those rolls and the DC 15 to allow another save for Feyr ... but thank the gods he can see again![/sblock]
Adran gasps in relief as his sight clears. He hadn't realised just how frightened he was that the blindness might be permanent.

Growl charges into the goblin, morphing into a bear as he does so. He ferociously rends the creature, but Lephisto is unable to take advantage of the opening. Luckily, the goblin is too distracted to land a blow on the paladin.

[sblock=Status]Initiative:
25: Goblin Sharpshooter (-35, dead)
20: Adran (13/28, bloodied, Blighted, blinded (save ends))
19: Yelder
19: Lephisto (6/27, bloodied)
19: Goblin Hexer (-28, bloodied, Divine Challenged)
18: Alek (10/30+4, bloodied, Concealed) <== Your turn.
17: Feyr (6/26, bloodied, 5 ongoing poison)
16: Blighted Rat (-46, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 1 (-44, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 2 (-46, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 3 (-43, dead)
4: Growl (14/30+4, bloodied)

Growl shifts to beast form, charges to E14, and hits for 13 damage (including Strength of Valor's +2). Lephisto misses. Rolls.

The Hexer misses.

Adran and Growl are the possible recipients of Virtue of Valor.[/sblock]

Alek smiles as the swarm is defeated and immediately sets on the last foe with feverish energy wanting the battle to be over.

The goblin is clearly close to death after Feyr's attack, but it still manages to avoid the blows of Growl and Lephisto.

[sblock=Status]Initiative:
25: Goblin Sharpshooter (-35, dead)
20: Adran (13/28, bloodied, Blighted) <== Your turn.
19: Yelder
19: Lephisto (6/27, bloodied)
19: Goblin Hexer (-31, bloodied, Divine Challenged)
18: Alek (10/30+4, bloodied, Concealed)
17: Feyr (6/26, bloodied, 5 ongoing poison)
16: Blighted Rat (-46, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 1 (-44, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 2 (-46, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 3 (-43, dead)
4: Growl (14/30+4, bloodied)

Growl misses. Lephisto misses. I'm so disappointed.[/sblock]

Much as he would love to hack the goblin to pieces, Adran's too far away to reach it easily. Besides, he's still worried about Feyr.

He and Yelder make another attempt to help Feyr overcome the poison in his system. Then he moves into a more advantageous position to take out his frustrations on the hexer who blinded him.

[sblock=OOC]Heal check (Adran, Yelder) to allow Feyr another save vs poison: (1d20+2=9, 1d20+5=6)

Well, that was a waste of time! :(

Move to F16.[/sblock]
