The beetle cracks under Feyr's assault, leaking ichor and bile onto the marsh floor.

The goblin notches another arrow and lets it loose at Alek. This time the missile strikes home.

Garron stumbles back from the bard, clutching his bleeding side while sending even more insects to harass Adran. Looking down at his blood-soaked hands, he chuckles.

"Brother, this is getting tiresome. But if you want my blood, you are welcome to it."

At that his blood coils out of his hands and launches itself at Growl, splattering the druid. It lingers for a moment before blasting outwards in all directions, although no other targets are close enough to be hit. Growl finds himself disoriented and feels searing pain as the corrosive blood burns into his body.

The vines slowly crawl towards Feyr, but they are intercepted by Lephisto.

[sblock=Status]Feyr: (13/26, bloodied)
Growl: (15/30, bloodied, blind (save ends), 2 ongoing acid)
Adran: (12/28, bloodied, -2 to hit)
Goblin:
Garron: (-38, bloodied)
Vines: (-31, bloodied, Divine Challenged, dazed)
Beetle 12: (-37, dead)
Beetle 43: (-32, dead)
Lephisto: (19/27+4)
Alek: (10/30, bloodied)

Adran bloodied Garron, Alek bloodied the beetle, and Feyr killed it, as well as bloodying the vines.

The goblin shoots Alek, hitting for 7 damage.

Garron shifts to M15 and attacks Adran, hitting for 5 poison damage and giving him -2 to hit until the end of Garron's next turn.

Garron then spends his action point to use Spread the Blight against Growl, which hits. Growl is blinded, save ends. Then Garron makes a secondary attack, which in this case only targets Growl. This also hits for 5 acid damage and 2 ongoing acid damage. The blindness and the damage are separate effects, by the way.

The vines move to M4 and saves.

Lephisto moves to L4, Challenges the vines, and then misses.

No targets for Virtue of Valor this round.[/sblock]

Alek glares at the Goblin and looks ready to murder it before deciding better and moves backwards towards the Vines cursing them as he goes. He summons a small orb of alternating purple and black light and sends it flying towards the wreathing mass of plant life. Alek smiles as the Orb impacts along one of the creeper's vines.

[sblock=Page 2?!]No, not happening. We're staying on page 1!

Also, the vines is/are dead. It's amazing how much easier things go when there isn't a cloud of effective -4 to hit floating around. Well, not that amazing. I'm pretty disappointed they died before they could do their trick, but maybe you guys aren't.

Waiting for Adran's turn.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]I'm finding it a bit difficult to follow actions in sequence but I think Growl could have used a healing surge without using his second wind, since Adran had expended a Majestic Word with him as recipient. In that case, Growl's surge should have been +4 hp.

Assuming that that's the case (and that Growl is therefore in reasonable shape, although still blind), Adran will make another melee attack against Garron, hoping to fall back in the next round and take out his sling.

Guiding Strike (vs AC) against Garron: (1d20+7=22, 1d8+4=7)

-2 penalty against AC until the end of Adran's next turn.[/sblock]
Gritting his teeth, Adran moves in to attack Garron again. His longsword slashes at the druid's side, gashing dead flesh. Resigned to the stinging attack of the vermin surrounding him, he resolves to move back and attack at range, once Growl is back in the fight.
