People more often vote with their wallets, than vote in any other manner.

Not as easy as it sounds, though. I've bought several books that were wastes of money. Monster Manual II and Complete Divine, for example.

Hmm, one point I am not clear on is if stances count against your total number of manuvers known and or number of manuvers readied or if they are seperate from both?

Stances are clearly separated from maneuvers. They are not maneuvers themselves. The only time they count as maneuvers is for meeting the prerequisites of other stances and maneuvers. Not for meeting prestige class prerequisites, not for meeting feat prerequisites, not for counting total maneuvers known, not for anything else.

Well, upon further review if I am going to play test this book IMC I am thinking I might want to start by replacing Paladins with Crusaders.

Is there any important fixes for Crusaders or their schools I need to know about before pursuing this further?

Indeed!

I certainly regretted wasting my money on a couple of books, too.

Mixed praise and such on the Internet can convince people that they might like a particular product, only for them to regret it when they buy it later.

Um, I think just the fact that White Raven has some broken maneuvers that need tweaking, like White Raven Tactics and Warmaster's Charge, and I think there were one or two others but I haven't taken enough of a look at WR yet to see if any others are problematic.

Also, I think I remember some grumblings on the boards previously about the Shards of Granite feat, or maybe it was just Stormguard Warrior folks were grumbling about.....I haven't figured out yet for myself what the problem may be with those feats, if anything.

I think everything else for Crusaders is alright?

Well, its only been a few days but so far the book has been interesting if for no other reason then at least to gain some insight into the next edition.

Don't forget that you see a dramatically higher proportion of negative feedback than you see of positive feedback. It's human nature to want to point out failings rather than praise things that work.

QFT. Opinions are like spinchters, everyone's got one and the loudest ones stink the most.

I dunno i bought it because I heard good things. I wound up hating it and found that the people (at least on the wizards board where I used to frequent) were people playing game styles that certainly werent akin to what i wanted

As someone who hasn't even seen the book and gained all his knowledge of the Bo9S through online reviews and forums, I'm curious about what sort of game styles they were playing...or what game styles you wanted. I've been considering picking up some of the 3.5e books that slipped through my fingers and this is one, but I've never really cared for the flavour I've heard in descriptions of the book.
