Climbing would also be more difficult for a blind person.

Funny thing, that. I have a serious fear of heights. As part of a "teamwork" course i took, we did a climbing wall. And i did it blindfolded. It was the easiest time climbing i've ever had--it completely destroyed the fear of heights. [Of course, i did have others around to help direct me, so i didn't accidentally wander up a dead-end route.]
