Book of All Spells from... Steve Jackson Games?

Hmm this one definitely was under the radar. Didn't even see anything about it on the SJ Games website.

The Book of All Spells features a vast collection of d20 spells culled from numerous Open Gaming License published source material, and includes new spells unique to this publication.

A search on Google shows that it is from Fast Forward, not Steve Jackson -

unless SJ has another product with the EXACT same name.



Has anybody taken a look at it, or any of the other spell compilation books? Any recommendations for such a thing?

No offense to Fast Forward, exactly, but I think they should have just borrowed spells from other sources, not added their own.

If you've read his early articles in Dragon, Mr. Ward was apparently the original power gamer, and based on his work for Fast Forward, little has changed.

Nothing wrong with powerful spells. I bet they may be changed for 3.5 compliance anyway.
