As a DM I like the adventure locations and adversaries parts. Flames with its three Fiend villains is my preliminary favourite chapter before I reread it a bit closer.

How meaty would you say the 5 "Locations" modules are? Would you say they qualify as full-on Adventure modules in themselves, or just quickie dungeons?

Also noticed some likely future changes. Lycanthropes no longer have damage immunity, instead they have regen that’s turned off by silver.

Throne and Jester’s Adventure locations are one or two session short adventures.

The other three are more involved and could have people stick around for a while.

We've heard a lot.about the general shape of the origin story in various previews, how do you.find it when it all laid out? Any fun surprises?

I hate to say, but judging from the chapter breakdown, I don't see anything that really excites me.

It seems to be a prodict of lots of little things that may be useful rather than a large singular Thing. Like, over 30 Monster stat blocks and 50 magic items is potentially very handy, even if no single one is a huge standout. The Encoutner tables look fun from the Twitter previews.

Is House of Cards still a spell, @MonsterEnvy? And if so, is it still a worse version of Tiny Hut at a higher level, or does it have some clear advantages over Tiny Hut (given that it was higher level in the UA)?
