I would totally buy that.

How to Survive in the Multiverse with 30 gold pieces a day. Rules for magic towels. Of course, like the Book of Exalted Deeds, the Book of Vile Darkness, the Book of Eldritch Might, and others, it would be an in-game item as well. It would provide with immunity from becoming panicked. Babelfishes confer a continuous tongues effect for the "wearer". Rules for extra limbs (heads, arms) (Zaphod is such a munchkin, he just wanted to wear three rings and two headbands!)

This could actually be a humorous once-around-the-planes.
