Ours was split lengthwise on a horizontal plane. :D

HEY THERE FOLKS, care to see something? To hype the story hour, I made the "intro" to the movie. This is what you see when the lights go down. If the loading screen just sits still, right click and hit "play"... it should work. I'm not so flash-ey.

watch the intro!

Dude -that ROCKS! :D

Mmmmmm... I'm sitting here with a big smile on my face:)

Cool Intro, Dr Midnight:cool:

Ahhh...the fun you must have had...tales of great gaming has a way of making me happy. It's just so nice to hear about other people having a good time, especially when it has to do with this great hobby of ours:)

Congrats to all of you.

!

First off, I'm heinously not happy that I couldn't go to this gameday.

And Dr. Midnight, based on the coolosity of that Flash into, I would play in anything you ran - ever.

I think it would make online players a lot happer if they saw their exploits done up in something like that.

Doc, that intro rules!

Dave, my PUBLIC apology for mistaking you for Chronosome at the start. Ahem.

No apology necessary. As I said then, too many faces to remember, and twice as many names.

Many thanks to P-cat and Kid Cthulhu for hosting, and all the players for showing up and playing!

23 people? Hm. This means something...

Oh, and by the way...

Hey - stranger things have happened and we need a nice, big winter Con! :D

Ahem...

While it isn't big like Gen Con, there is a con going on in the Boston area this winter. This coming weekend, in fact!

Arisia

And, at this con, there will be a live-action role playing game!

Collision Imminent!

So hush! Go play!

I concur with the previous posters in saying the Boston Game Day rocked! I too thank P-kitty and KidCthulhu for being generous enough to host this event, and Umbran for a cool Godlike session. Lots of fun!

Thanks, but you'd find yourself regretting that choice ten minutes into my horrid "Anriat Mountain" campaign of three years back... the campaign where I didn't know any of the AD&D rules, and was hoping the players did.

Sigh. So young then. So inexperienced.

Anyway. I just wanted to come in and say that I've been telling everyone about the game day since I left on Saturday. I'm finding myself deeply regretting not trying to find a way to leave a Doc-bot to distract the FS players while I stole upstairs to play League of Extraordinary Gentleman AND Godlike... at once. Dammit. There was TOO MUCH GREAT CRAP going on at once.

And, hey, this HEROES OF HIGH FAVOR: ELVES book... damn Wulf. I poked through this thing last night and was loving it.

...And I want to thank all of YOU for posting your stories to this thread, and making up for (for me) a totally blown gaming weekend. Due to various problems, our gaming group meeting disintegrated on Saturday, and I have to wait at least a week. :(

But thanks for making my Monday! :D
