Boston ENworld Game Day–Mission Accomplished

I wonder how the games are going...?

Mine went well. Had set up the Deadlands bunch all set up for th eclimax battle - and they killed the thing in one lousy round. Lucky punks :)

What will they be eating on their break between slots...?

Pepperoni and green pepper calzone, for me.

Will they gather for a large picture that will be displayed in this thread...?

No single large picture, though some photos were taken. I don't think there was a room that would have easily held all of us at once without removing some furniture. It was quite the mob.

Ahhhhh, a success, I think! Thanks again everyone for coming, and thanks to all the GMs that ran, and to Malhavoc Press and Blue Devil Games for providing nice prizes. And a special thanks for whomever left that piece of peperoni pizza I just ate: good stuff. :D

Woo hoo! That was a fun day! I want to thank Umbran for the cool Shadowrun game, and Qualidar for the great d20 Modern Bughunters game. I'm feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to tackle my own upcoming campaign!

I took 2 pictures which got most of those present (PC and a few had left). I'm afraid I was a bit unsure of procedure, and not at all aggressive about photographing. I'll try to do better next time.
I'll get this film developed tomorrow or Monday, and zap the pics over to Q. to post.

I think I want to run something at the next game day.
Nell.

The Flesh that Must Be Eaten, was in fact. (Thank you Ao!)

The swath of destruction due to my wake of gamma radiation will be legandary in Freedom city for weeks to come. (Thank you Piratecat!)

And i very much look forward to the mead (Thank you Warehouse23!!)

But my favourite game of the day was, bar none:

Pimp: the Backhanding. I got 4 ho's and made $260! I'm the second best pimp in my house! Second only to LightPhoenix. (Thank you Scholar!!!)

Now, since i can't feel my feet, i go to bed.

I had a glorious time. Zog's Seven Seas game was an absolute hoot, in a system I'd never played before, and I was really pleased with how much fun I had running my MnM game. Great roleplaying, fun people!

No wonder I like this place.

Awesome TIme

That was a blast!

Thank you to our gracious hosts and to my awesome GMs!

Nasrat ran a TENSE Red Star game that had all of my favorite RS elements in it (and I got to collapse an entire building!).

Varianor Abroad introduced us to Arcana Evolved. Great fun!!! And an outstanding group to boot!

Ok, I think I'm running out of exclamation points. Thanks and see you next time (when I'll probably be sitting on the other side of the screens).

Thanks to Qualidar and Yttrai for hosting the Game Day. You guys did a great job providing us a place to play - although I am concerned about that probability sinkhole you have in the guest room - you might want to get that looked at.

All Flesh was a blast - even if I ended up on the receiving end of those blasts from my own party. Next time I stop off at CrossGates Mall - I won't be going to Hooter's!

And thanks for Varianor Abroad for a fun game of Arcana Evolved. I was glad I could provide the GM with at least one PC death at the hands of the BBEG. I really enjoyed the flexibility this system provided for my character - up until his demise. I now want to use this system even more.

Wooo! Great Game Day indeed. First, I'd like to thank our hosts for opening their house to us and letting us geek out. (Loved the bookcases in the dining room.) Second, I want to thank all six of my players. It was a great group. You were all excellent. Thanks for putting up with my being late. If any of you ever move to Connecticut, please look me up. :)

Oh, and Thornir, I really apologize that nobody joined Charnoset in the transition to the spirit realm. Though the jury was out on Gospog's giant that our Runechild abandoned. ;)

For all those of you who now hate illusion covered darkblooded hydras and toxic templated spells, you may blame Justin Jacobson and Poisoncraft. Really, I had nothing to do with it. If those of you who got his books like them, please make sure to go to bluedevilgames.com and tell him, or even write a review.

Hope to see you all again!

Bill
