I hadn't read any of the reviews (so no preconcived notions) and I was only passively interested to see it in the first place (so no exceptionaliy high expectations)... but I just couldn't appreciate nor enjoy it. :( Very dissapointing over all.

It just set in the past, or out of the JLU continuity altogether, I'd say.

Oh it is out of all continuities, when Braniac tried to download the collected knowledge of Krypton, I yelled at the TV "You are the collective knowledge of Krypton!" (in TAS & JLU universe)

Then I went to watch hockey, but my VCR was recording.

It is times like this I wish I had a demagnetizer. Just the thought that this movie is lurking there, just waiting to hurt someone :uhoh:

Whoa! Lex Luthor's black? When'd that happen?
He's not black, not even in that picture. He's just drawn with marked lipsm to give him a sort of sneering look. Not that he's sneering in that picture. :)

I forgot this was on and only saw the last half-hour - but I'm glad I didn't bother to watch the entire movie. What a disappointment. I felt that Cartoon Network and WB just said to themselves, "Well, we've still got this property, so let's milk it some more". They didn't have any of the writers or producers from Justice League to work on it, and didn't even get the same voice actors for Lex or Brainiac. Lex was just a lame comedy relief character, totally out of character with the brilliant and sinister guy developed in JLU.

What a waste of time.

The Lex Luthor from the Superman and JLA animated series has always been black.

So what do you think. Is he irish or german? :p

Luthor's skin tone has always been the same as Superman's in StAS. The DC Animated tone for black skin can be seen in Steel (John Henry Irons), GL John Stewart and in Ron Troupe.

If anything, Lex is more Latino than anything in that picture.
