You know, regarding the color issue, it occurs to me that there's an easy answer in the Core Rules: the Prestidigitation spell. Sure, it only lasts an hour, but the very existence of the effect implies that it's possible to change colors magically- which surely means that above 1st level you'd be able to pay for enchantment or something to permanently turn some armor pink. C'mon, it's a zero-level spell; a scroll costs just 25 gp to buy.
And there's also the Arcane Talent feat, which you could take to get the spell yourself, though you have to be Elf, Half-Elf, or Gnome to take it by RAW. If all efforts to get pink equipment fail, this would let you use it 3 times/day to turn anything pink for an hour, each time.
