yoink! now if only the party's ACs weren't so damned high, these might be able to hit without needing a natural 20! ;)

what book is brutal throw in again? Nice thread :)
Mike

one of the wotc hardcover splats.
Use STR instead of DEX to hit with a thrown weapon.

I have told my players all non core stuff they want in will go on monsters too. My players begged for the toughness feat to be 1 point per level[nonstacking]. They contered my argument that the die hard feat is there for extra HP beyond toughness, saying fighting in die hard is a horrible thing to rely on. I said i didn't like devaluating die had like that but offered them 1/level minimum 3 non stacking. They took the option. Now most monsters take it too.

Brutal throw means giants are as dangerous far away as they are close up.

Praticed spellcaster makes a dragon's Mage Armor and Shield combo a bit harder to dispell.

ROFL! now that is a wicked idea. :) maybe i'll have these guys travelling with the cheif's party. :)

now here's a question. if an AMF-affected rock is thrown at a target, does the field remove their spells right before it hits them?
