Buffy: 1/21/03 (Spoilers)

Early Buffy was the same way, have to accept being a slayer. Dawn does not know it and thinks too much, which makes her look like she is still normal, until something happens and fear kicks in, then she takes care of herself. I think this was shown in the show, the fight with the vampire, the moving of the file to block the door, just a bit of the slayer power.
Hmmm, interesting. I assume we are talking about the movie at this point (it's been some time since I've seen it). Even early on, Buffy showed that she had above average reflexes like catching of a knife thrown at her head. Dawn has seen buffy in action enough to know how to kill a vampire. She has shown that she can fight. However, she has not shown the slayer super-strength, dexterity, healing ability or visions. And as for the fear kicking in and "activating" some slayer abilities, Dawn would have snapped the flagpole easily in half with Slayer-strength if she was one.

Even with all that said, I can't totally disagree with the theory since the evolution of a slayer once activated is unknown. I'm more or less playing Devil's Advocate here for arguement's sake. :) The movie, while I guess is considered canon, was not done how Joss wanted it. I think it would be quite cool to see what happens when a new Slayer is called. That would be cool.

Yes. And the guy who played Kralik also played the Nosferatu guy in Kindred: The Embraced.

The very next episode ("The Zeppo") featured the guy who played the Gangrel leader in K:tE.
Some other K:tE appearances in the Buffyverse:

The guy who played the Brujah leader in K:tE also played the Master's chief henchman in the first Buffy episode (Welcome to the Hellmouth/The Harvest) as well as the Judge in Surprise/Innocence.

The chick who was the K:tE prince's niece or something was Wesley's girlfriend for a while on Angel, after her father failed to sacrifice her to a demon on account of her not being a virgin.
