"Conversations with Dead People
60 min.
In a jarring episode filled with returning characters, Buffy, Dawn and Willow encounter deceased people from their pasts.
While out on patrol, Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) squares off with a former classmate and current vampire (Jonathan M. Woodward), who goads her into revealing her insecurities. Back at home, Dawn (Michelle Trachtenberg) is thrown into a panic when an invisible force trashes the Summers' house and deposits the corpse of her mother (Kristine Sutherland) on the sofa. Meanwhile, nerdy villains Jonathan and Andrew (Danny Strong, Tom Lenk) return from Mexico"

Nice little beginning. I lkie the No Pizza note :D

WELL?? Whaddya think? :)

That was a really good episode. We have the characters divided, Johnathon dead, and Spike killing people. I was thinking that killing Jonathon would activate thay symbol or something like that. I really liked Dawn's experience, well done. Buffy's psych 101 talk with the Vampire was interesting. And willow talking to what's her name was good as wqell. I think it shows that Zander is not important to the Hellmouth, or first Evil since he didn't get any sort of visitation. Will he somehow be the unknown element?

Holy crap, that is some good evil. The One Beneath is quickly becoming a contender for my favorite evil ever, vying even with Angelus.

And what on earth is Spike DOING?!? At least they're going to deal with it next episode, instead of ignoring it for a while and then kinda forgetting about it.

Was it really him? Or another manifestation of the One Beneath?

Well, unless he somehow got rid of that chip that causes him pain, it's not him. So, I don't think it's him. Interesting though if it isn';t, it means the One Beneath can make vampires.

Oh my God!

Ashtal, I thought about Hush, too -- this is maybe the second-creepiest hour of television I've ever seen (Hush, of course, being the first). Aaaaah!

Definitely the best episode this season. I was feeling more and more disappointed in Buffy this season, but this gives me great hope.

Woohoo! Yay the Thing that Eats You, Starting With Your Bottom!
