If they say this, double-check to see that they're filling in their username and password in the boxes that appear just above the description field. Some people miss seeing those and it won't stick unless they're filled in.
Trelian -- even if you put in your username and password, there's still an error message (see the SQL message above that I referenced) when you try to set a description.

It may or may not be linked to the length of a description -- I'm not sure.

Fixed and issue which was preventing people from using apostrophies in their descriptions.

Still working on that double login bit...
as of 6:30 PM EDT, I still have to remove apostrophes from descriptions, but it works for character names, so anyone looking for Lincesa can now find "Lince'sa" instead. it's still me

new bug. if I try to use black text it will not save my setting. it says it's still black in my font color window, but it appears white on the screen and for my name. I have to choose another color then switch back to black. all other colors seem to work fine.

I use Opera for the new chats and besides the 2x login and apostrophy issues... the flaming thing likes to only load half of the page.. I get the top 1/4 of the chat frame and the utility bar at the bottom with a white frame twain. This occures occasionally in IE as well... have not tried firefox as of yet for said-same... A simple refresh usually clears it.

Hmmm.

I myself am still having the troubles of lag. I'm not sure if it is my PC or maybe something with Flash. I have recently downloaded Flash 8 and it helps a little but not by a great deal. This is the only thing that lags as such. It also does it in The Den, beings they use the same application. I know I have plenty of recources to run this it should be cake, but for some reason it wants to hassle me. Hehehe. Just wanted to post and let you know. ^_^

it is the nature of the program to suck every system resource available to you if you run mutliple characters at a time. limiting yourself to one character per web browser PROGRAM seems to aliviate this. if you are having problems of this nature when running just one character, I can only suggest that is it still the same problem and I personally have been lucky enough not to have it happen to me yet.

It likes to kick you out when using IE/MSN Also still the double log thing, and eerytime it kicks you you have to rest your settings.....
