Burning MP3 Lists from WMP: What Am I Missing?

Before I continue I want you to know that I did attempt to research my issue but I couldn't find what I was looking for and I haven't really burned that much other than Data CDs.

My son has a list of MP3s saved under Windows Media Player. The thing is when I bring up the lists and go to burn them the process either a) freezes, b) can't find the disk even though I placed said disk in correct drive (I tried two different CD brands and one DVD), or c) cannot Synchronize the lists and therefore cannot continue. By the way, forgive the noob question, but what does the synchonization do since the list is already made?

I've tried burning from Nero 7 as well as Burn & Go programs but neither can find the lists when I go to search/browse; even if I attempt to "Send to..." the lists from WMP the lists are only partially transferred.

What am I failing to do? Thanks.

Are you talking about a playlist?

BTW, in what folder do you keep your music files ripped from your CDs or downloaded from the internet?

Yes, I am talking about playlists. These are downloaded from the internet and are currently stored in Windows Media Player library.

I've attempted to point Nero to the MP3 files but I can't find them.

Exactly where is your "My Music" folder?

If you find it, open it and there should be a "My Playlists" folder.
