ColonelH, I love d20 and D&D and 3E, and yet I don't have a problem with d20 Munchkin. There's nothing wrong with poking some fun at one's own hobby. So what if SJ wants to have his little joke (if in fact that's his intent)? It doesn't affect me or anyone else I know materially. Taking a pastime too seriously is not a good thing, just like taking most anything too seriously.
I know I seem very defensive about this. I'm actually a lot less concerned about it than I seem. I'm just quibbling a bit, because jokes like these are tired and pointless.
Being very serious about how you're not being too serious is rather ironic, you should realise.
