Bypassing my own SR?

Well, smetzger, assuming that this relates to your death knight PC in the other thread, the cleric should be 22nd level, right? Whereas your SR is probably only 28 (11 + char level). That means that if he has Greater Spell Penetration (a worthwhile investment for any cleric), he'll only blow his check on a 1 or 2. That's pretty good odds. Arcane Mastery is certainly a good option as well, of course!

Yes, its for my Death Knight. However, the cleric I was thinking about was one of my Skeletal Warrior followers, who would be only 10th level. Oh, yeah my SR is 20 + 1/HD, so thats 37


But alas, it doesn't matter becuase the DM has said my initial Skeletal Warrior will be a Warrior.
