Darn you all! As if I wasn't already fiending for my RPG fix...
My group will finish Shadows of the Last War sometime in January, and I'm not sure whether the Eberron game will continue, as people's schedules are different now. If we do keep going, the group will probably lose a couple of players and gain a couple of new ones (yeah, I have a waiting list...) and will move into more character-centered adventures - or I might plot-weave their own pursuits with Whispers of the Vampire's Blade. We'll see.
What I'm really looking forward to right now, though, is that a friend of mine is going to run Mage: The Sorcerer's Crusade, which I have never played before but looks awesome. And an old friend (the one who introduced me to D&D back in 4th grade!) just moved up here, and he's thinking about running a Serenity game. I'm not a huge sci-fi fan but I was entertained enough by the movie to be interested.
I've also been thinking about putting together something like Eric was talking about... a simple, relatively generic setting where I could plop in some DCCs and let the PCs just explore. I have two months off for winter break and would like to have something set up so that we can just play pick up games when people come over to our house. I might run it something like a "living" campaign, and not worry too much about party continuity or inter-character balance stuff. At this point, I just want to play! Something, anything... please?
