Demon, you're fine, it's your sign that's disintegrated.

If disintegrate is targeted at an object you carry, it gets your save, but if you fail with a natural 1, only the sign is disintegrated.

If disintegrate targets YOU and you fail with a natural 1, you take damage and one of your items may be damaged also.

Right?

Yup, unless it is indeed an incorporeal sign... in which case it's an object, but not one made of non-living matter, and therefore not a valid target.
