Can ISLAND CASTAWAYS really see the past/future?

Illusia, the way you describes things, I am much tempted to believe in your honesty.

Thank you.

Even if psychics are real, they still can't predict the future, due to the Uncertiny Principle of Quantum Mechanics. I won't get into it, but basicly, the future is random. Deal. ;)

So true.

So, no one has watched Penn & Teller's Bullsh*t? In it, they debunked psychics, like John Edwards as well as many other topics. Like any proof, or faith, certainly people won't believe the "debunking" if they don't want to.

Have seen it, get a good giggle when I watch them.

Penn & Teller and Randi are good. But to play Devil's Advocate for a moment - the fact that they've debunked a whole mess of psychics does not actually prove, in a scientific sense, that psychic powers don't exist. It is impossible to really prove the negative - as in "psychic powers do not exist". The best they can say is, "no credible claim of psychic powers has ever withstood close scrutiny".

I agree with you as well, you sound like a smart man. At least a man with an open mind not set to debunk knowledge because it doesn't agree with your current stream of thought.

Which brings me to what I am trying to say here. *thinking*
There are so many possibilities, so much our young minds cannot as yet comprehend, so many avenues of thought, so much to learn and experience. I believe in possibilities. I believe in being accepting of other possibilities other than what is my current vain, I believe in experimenting, learning, seeking knowledge, testing theories .. open, always open, but of course with personal guidelines that each individual uses to make them feel they are doing the best they can, for all in all, that's the most any of us can do.

Ack! Don't want to sound like a preacher or something, I'm definitely not!

I believe in personal power and possibilities. But I believe paid pyshics are a crock of sh*t! Too many variables people, just too many, it boggles the mind.

I've enjoyed all the comments here and the whole discussion. Thank you.

Seismic senses going haywire (I've got senses acute enough to pick up advance warning of earthquakes if I'm in contact with the right surfaces, although I shouldn't think it'd work across ten thousand kilometres of ocean and continent)? I don't know...

Wow, you can do that too. Freaks me out, I've often known the day before when a bad earthquake is coming, no matter where on the earth it is. Ask some of my mates, it freaks them out too. I feel the earth tremor and get nauseated.. weird.

And now everyone here probably thinks I'm a total freak, but honestly, I am not. Working woman, intelligent, self sufficient and quite normal. Of course, I tell very few people I can feel earthquakes about 12 hours before they happen. Heh.
