If Steve will be so kind as to compile a list of the verbs--and even nouns--as are desired by rogues, I'll go to work on it ASAP.

Mind you, all of the actual Thieves' Cant words I could find were included in the material found in the CANTING CREW volume. However, by using sources for obsolete words and some bit of fudging, likely something passable can be devised

Is there a release date for "Heart of Glass "?


This looks to be a city and an adventure. I am running a game in Kalamar and already have lots of info on the city. Could you give me a preview of what will be included

Heart of Glass is at the printer now. It should take them 2 weeks to print and one week to ship. Stores will be getting them shortly after. We will have it at Origins hopefully (Cross my fingers).

We should definately have Heart of Glass by Origins. More than likely its going to hit retail shops about one week early or some such.

I'm actually excited about this one. Its the first thing I've written since Codex and Malady so am anxious to see how it is recieved.

As for Cant, this sounds like a great idea. Fire over any words, phrases or sentences you can think of and we'll get cracking on them. We'll load them up on the web page!

Another thing I'd like to see, as you dig into Gary's material you'll see the structures of the various types of thieves guilds and begin designing you own. I'd like to start posting these as support material. It would be nice for your guilds to spread to other worlds and settings.

At any rate, email the cant to troll@trolllord.com and I'll send it on up to Gary for a work over.

Thieves Guild

Hey, with this in mind we've started a Canting Crew board over on our 'kickin it with the troll lords' boards over at our webpage. Stop by and check it out. You can make suggestions for thieves' guilds names, register your own, make suggestions, ad to the vocab and throw in your two cents. I think Davis the Board Lord.....or the Bored Lord, set up a Canting Crew list.
