Capoerista prestige class?

Does anyone have anything for a Prestige Class based on a Capoerista? Since I've been watching a circle practice Capoeria every once in a while, complete with some musicians, and occasional using sticks and machetes. It's a very visually impressive fighting/dance style, so I was thinking on having martial artist characters using a more Afro-Brazilian style. Somehow I envision the prestige class combining aspects of Bards and Monks together.

Unless there's something you would specifically want that Capoerists would get, I don't think you'd need a prestige class. Just fiddle with an existing class.

Take a basic fighter. Ask your DM to let you, in exchange for getting rid of Light, Medium, and Heavy Armor Proficiencies, and Shield Proficiency, to instead let you get a good Reflex save, and an AC bonus like the monk (something like +1 every 4 levels).

Then, just take the appropriate feats, maybe make some new feats, and add some flavor to the character. You have improved unarmed strike, expertise, and improved trip, definitely. Take maybe weapon focus in machete or just unarmed strike. Then just say that, while doing those spins, you're using expertise most of the time to make yourself harder to hit. Definitely take weapon finesse, too, and probably dodge. The rest is just how you define yourself.

If you want a prestige class, it would need to be for something like a special group of Capoerists. Maybe they all sing while they fight, and all of them have trained with some sort of special lashing kick attack that gives them 10 foot reach but puts them off balance for a round. Give them a special backstory, and perhaps some common customs, and you're set. But always try to put at least some social element into your prestige classes.

Or just use the monk class and allow sticks and machetes as Monk weapons in leiu of the usual kind. Some GM's may want to charge a feat for that but IMO allowing those and daggers as Monk weapons is perfectly balanced.

Actually I think the monk as is can pretty much handle the Capoerista

Flurry of blows can be delivered with the feet and a stunning blow could be interpreted as a kick to the head (or groin), evasion accounts for the spinning and leads on to the increased speed.

The monk recieves improved trip and all the other abilities can be explained as the power of the Dance and the Music to remove toxins/sickness and to strengthen the body, mind and soul.

Even the Quivering Palm can be cross linked to Capoeras 'voodon' background and explained as a Curse

I would use the monk class and make performance a base skill while taking out one of the other base skills (like spellcraft maybe..monks get that right?)

Furthermore, I'd let the monk get a +2 synergy bonus to other skills, like escape artist, tumbling, etc...for his 5 ranks in Performance.

It's not a PrC but....

I wrote a feat called "Musical Accompaniment" in the Quintessential Monk manuscript. It gives bonuses to monks who fight while accompanied by a bard or musician.

If memory serves, I do believe it's in the printed product.

"Furthermore, I'd let the monk get a +2 synergy bonus to other skills, like escape artist, tumbling, etc...for his 5 ranks in Performance."

I'd consider that a feat equivalent ability, and would force him to either buy it or (better yet maybe) swap it out for one of his other class abilities OA style.

I vaguely recall something from 2E (1E?) called the Battle Dancer, that was based on capoeira. It might have been a kit, or an alt.class, and I think it was from an issue of Dragon magazine. If you can find a copy of that class, it would offer some other ideas for class abilities.
