CArc Warlock" Flee the Scene + Walk Unseen

Two Invocations that a Warlock from Complete Arcane can choose are Flee the Scene and Walk Unseen.

Flee the Scene is like a mini-dimension door + 1 rd. Major Image of your character, appearing where you were (and possibly able to fake your death).

Walk Unseen is, well, invisibility.

If you have Walk Unseen "on" and you Flee the Scene, is the Major Image of your character left where you were visible or invisible?

Hmm, interesting question.

I would rule the major image depicts you as you are, invisible. In other words, the illusion will not contain a visual component. It would still "react appropriately", so if your location was hit by an AoE spell, it would probably scream in pain or something similar. Someone who was watching you with see invisiblity would see you dissapear when you used the Flee the Scene invocation, though. Major image is not capable of depicting you as invisible to some people and visible to others. It is a Figment, and the description of Figments specifically states they appear the same to everyone.

So if I had a Major Image 20 ft away from a human and a dwarf in total darkness, either the human could see it or the dwarf couldn't?
What about someone who is blind?

They appear the same to everyone capable of perceiving them. Total darkness? Dwarf can see it thanks to darkvision, human cannot. Blind? Can't see, so can't see the illusion.

See invisibility merely does the same kind of thing as the darkvision spell and allows you to percieve things that normal people cannot; thus, it would work in such a circumstance.

You lost me. How does See Invisibility factor in again? Someone with See Invis up would see the warlock disappear when he used Flee the Scene because he's changed physical location thanks to the Dimention Door aspect of its function. Assuming, of course, that he DDoored to somewhere out of line of sight from the See Invis person, that is.

Someone with see invis would see the warlock with walk unseen before he cast flee the scene, so when the major image was made, most people couldn't see it, but the one with see invis would still see the warlock's image there.
