Welcome back weary wanderer - I too was a WotC forum geek, however I rarely left the Castle of Fun (If you don't know what it is/was, it would be too hard to explain, but if you imagine that the Marx brothers, the three stooges and the cast of Soap were playing a D&D game ran by Robin Williams....well you would be in the Area Code, but that's about it.)

This is my home, and has been for quite a while - unlike the WotC boards, there is a real sense of community here, when we go to GenCon, we actually hang out with each other rather than stare at each other across the hall and point. Of course, we do that too.

I wasn't aware that whine had any good vintages, or is it just bad, really bad, or plain dreadfully god-awful?

I would think that that would be more likely to be a game of TOON, but whatever.

I haven't used the WotC forums in a long time, I think my account got deleted in some recent changes or something. Ah well. The discussions on D&D here have a lot more depth.

Well there was the '99-'00 vintage that I rather liked, but other than that, I think your assessment isn't too far off
