OOC: To be fair, we don't exactly have the best raw material to work with, but yeah, the rolls haven't been great. Still sucky Perception checks are pretty much a tradition by now...

Marks eyed Otter. "The SHO's in the shop. We pick it up tomorrow around 10 am, the guy said." He focused for a moment on Keihn, coughing once. "We need to figure out what to do about Esmeralda."

Keihn nodded and checked the time on his cellphone. "Garvey'll be here in three hours, around 9 am. She made specific mention that if the body's still here at 9 am, it'll have to be FCC and not cops because the time delay will be too long." Keihn scanned the faces assembled in the kitchen. "Cops, obviously, means questions and bureaucracy. Judge Magnus-Stinson will probably have to sign off on the venture. Cons are a lengthy investigation and the risk of returning to prison. Pros are everything is above-board and legal, which means no looking over your shoulder. To a certain extent, FCC also means questions and bureaucracy. Of a potentially softer species, however. The body goes to St. Vincent's for processing, because we have a contact there with the State Board of Health. After that, it's a trip to the incinerator. Some paperwork, which probably your handler does. Maybe a visit from someone higher up, not sure. Cons are the risk of criminal charges within the statute of limitations, which I think is something like five years...though maybe you have limited immunity. That's a question for Marks. Or Garvey. Pros are that it's out of the media's eye, quick, no immediate risk of jail, and you get back in business. We should get the team's input before deciding. So, you guys were here when things went down, and you guys dealt with the initial knock and announce. Thoughts on a potential course of action?" He looked around. Marks piped up. "Judge granted limited immunity. Reasonable action taken within the course of official conduct should be covered. Maybe. Depending on who's in office that year. And how public the media spotlight is."

Bukowski frowned. He'd been quiet for the last few moments. He leaned against the cabinets and crossed his arms over his chest, listening.

T-dawg looks to Cyril expectantly, once talk turns to legalities and courses of action. Seems he's willing to with with whatever the lawyer deems most appropriate... within reason of course.

When conversation turns to the boy, he interjects "His name's Tommy. Yeah, we should find him and make sure that whatever happened to Esmerelda doesn't happen to him".
