D&D 5E CB's Stonefast IC -- COMPLETE

OOC: I think it just allows you to do it, it still costs the extra movement. The normal rule is that you can't move through a space of an opponent unless said opponent is at least two size categories larger or smaller than yourself. Halflings down shift the larger requirement by one, allowing them to move through a medium-sized creature's space, but still pay the difficult terrain penalty.

Round 4, paused mid-way for re-stated action for Colden

Initiative:
Spec 19
Guran 18
Colden 18
Kobolds 16
Other creatures 16
Fulgrim 13
Elf 8
Roscoe 6

Spec stepped into the dogleg and found he'd exited the magically silenced area. He picked up his mace, then reached past Guran and cast guidance on Colden. Spec next pressed down the hall, passing both Guran and Colden. He rounded the corner and stopped in the square in front of the open pit.

Guran resheathed his handaxe and lit a torch. He kept his weapon hand free, ready to draw if need be, but otherwise followed after Colden. He kept 5' of space between himself and Colden.

"The sound works here!" Colden yelled from the hallway. Colden presses his attack on the Kobolds clearing the space in from of him, he launches himself at the third creature swinging his bloodied hammer in a wide arc. As he does he glances at the others behind him and calls out. [sblock=Colden]I need you to clarify Colden's action for Round 4, [MENTION=6787159]Skarsgard[/MENTION]. Right now, there is no kobold within reach for Colden to attack. The closest kobold is down the new corridor and around the corner in the latest hallway (about 25' of movement and a pit trap away). Roscoe is hot on its trail. Also, Spec now stands in between Colden and the pit, and Roscoe occupies the square immediately after the pit.

Spec cast guidance on Colden, so once in the next 1 minute Colden can roll a d4 and add the result to one ability check of Colden's choice. Colden may roll the d4 either before or after making the ability check.[/sblock]

OOC: Pausing mid-round to let Skarsgard declare a different action for Colden.[sblock=DM Notes, ignore]
Kobolds
Other Creatures

Fulgrim observed as the rest of the party turned the corner. Not wanting to leave them out of sight, he followed, pausing to examine the barricade before stopping just shy of the dog-leg. He looked back over his shoulder to make sure the party was not being pursued.
OOC: Basically, moving to the square north of the dogleg turn, to provide space to move if anyone needs to retreat. Watching the rear for anything sneaking up on them.

Elf

Roscoe attacks the Kobold that face him.

Attack Kobold (1d20+4, 1d20+4, 1d6+3=[3, 4], [10, 4], [4, 3]) - Attack 14 and damage 7

OOC: Reckless Attack - When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn.[/sblock]

GM: Colden 25/32
Elf Out of sight, FULL UP
Kobold 1 Dropped
Kobold 2 Dropped
Kobold 3 FULL UP
Kobold 4 Out of sight, FULL UP
Other creatures Out of sight, FULL UP

OOC: Characters need to make an Athletics DC 5 check to jump over the 5' pit. If you come up with some nifty way of bypassing the pit, provide description in your post and maybe the Athletics check DC can be downward adjusted or ignored, depending on what you attempt.

Round 4

CONTINUED FROM MID-ROUND PAUSE:

"The sound works here!" Colden yelled from the hallway. He pushed past Spec and leapt over the open hold in the hallway, landing in Roscoe's square. [sblock=Colden and Roscoe]Until the kobold and Roscoe move for this round, Colden and Roscoe are squidged into one 5' square at the end of the hallway.[/sblock]

Kobold 3 squeaked in surprise at being presented with not one but two fierce warriors. It took off like a shot, running fast and hard, and rounded a corner in the hallway 30' to the west. Once it barreled around the corner, it was out of sight.
OOC: Kobold 3 disengages. I checked all the posts for the combat for Roscoe thus far and while I see that he raged, I don't see that he stated a readied action. You'll let me know, of course, if you think I'm in error. If Roscoe does have a readied action, it's my contention that he'd get it even if the foe disengaged (subject to a change of heart, given my latest question HERE in the OOC). Also, you have a good friend in [MENTION=95059]Forged Fury[/MENTION], who successfully advocated for Roscoe to reclaim his use of rage since the hallway is tight, and the description and the map have been both fluid and confusing throughout this encounter.

Fulgrim strode forward, pausing to examine the barricade before stopping just shy of the dog-leg. There appeared to be a massive heap of broken furniture and metal bits off of doors stacked up in the doorway of the room. There was a featherbed shoved sideways in there, too. Fulgrim tried to peer into the room beyond, and while he could tell the room had empty space inside, he didn't see anything of import. The dwarf looked back over his shoulder to make sure the party was not being pursued, but spotted nothing.

Roscoe shuffled forward 5' so that he and Colden were no longer sharing the same square. The light was poor where he stood (Spec and Guran have light sources but are around the corner on the other side of the pit trap), but Roscoe could make out a corridor that branched south off this new hall about 10' to the west. [sblock=Roscoe]OK, I'm going to pause one more time in Round 4 to let [MENTION=24609]Strahd_Von_Zarovich[/MENTION] weigh in on how Roscoe reacts to Kobold 3's having disengaged. Kobold 3 ran away; it hauled hind tail west down the hallway and rounded a corner out of sight. Depending on what Roscoe does, we may be done with combat rounds for the time being.[/sblock]

OOC: MAP: Fulgrim and Guran still have movement coming to them for Round 4, if they wish. Based on what I saw for description for Round 4, I'd peg Guran as moving up to stand behind Spec (who stands one square north of the pit), and Fulgrim standing one square north of the dogleg. Colden has leaped the pit and stands at the southernmost end of the corridor containing the pit. Roscoe is standing in the new hallway, one square west of Colden.

Fulgrim stood in the corridor, facing north. He scanned for telltale signs of pursuers, but saw none. As he was about to turn south, however, the arcane alarm he'd cast earlier during his watch pinged in his mind. Something was messing with the closed door to the clerical vestment room.

Roscoe raise his hand to signal a pause. The darkness ahead is a disadvantage for Roscoe, so he decided to track back.
The pit trap will be for our favor as well.
He says and suggest, we should clear up the rooms before we continue.
