Roscoe nudges the scattered bones with the tip of his sword. None of the bones come to life; they lay here and there on the floor, as do the blades wielded by the skeletons.
Fulgrim and Guran set about inspecting the eastern wall of Room 7. Room 7 has a sconce on the southern wall--Guran sticks his torch there while the pair search. As small as the room is, one torch is plenty, particularly when combined with Spec's light. After a few moments, Guran finds that three stones on the left of the lintel of the secret door compress. Finding no traps, Guran depresses the three stones. The door slides open into a pocket recess in the wall, kicking up a cloud of dust.
The room (Room 8) beyond the secret door is a twin of Room 7, only very obviously untouched. A thick layer of dust coats the floor, and an iron chest along the room's eastern wall--opposite the open secret door. Cobwebs hang in thick sheets from the ceiling, trailing along the dust on the floor. Unlike the hallways, corridors, and some of the rooms the group has previously encountered, this room has no mud in it.
