When Abigail gets within 10 feet, the pony smacks her with its clubbed tail for 10 points of damage. Abigail's tentacle does not penetrate the pony's hide (rolled 20+1=21).

The pony rears up on its hind legs, and smacks Abigail with its two front hooves and its tail, for a total of 21 points of damage. Abigail has 45 HP remaining.
