CE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Howling Dragon vs. Thunder Worm

OOC: I thought an RotG article let creatures with reach but without improved grab still pull grapplers into their space, but I was wrong. What it says is that a creature with reach can travel any distance for free to move into the grappler's space. I don't think that would let a creature defy gravity, however. So PJSlavner did it right in letting Abigail go, the question to me is whether the pony is allowed to hold on until the end of round and let go as a free action, or is the pony forced to let go immediately as a non-action because it can't move into Abigail's square. If the answer is the latter, then Abigail should have been able to get away after taking grapple damage. We can use PJSlavner's interpretation for now and readdress this in the second round.

The ogre flails away uselessly (rolled 16 & 19).

Round 888: The pony squeezes four times for 50. The ogre is dying.

Next for CE in round 888: an ice drake. (Draconomicon)

The pony is at 10N15E and has 160 hp.

A large white dragon enters the arena at the northern end, lifts off into the air immediately and stays there. He'll go all the way up to 110z and circle about until the 5 rounds are up.

The CN crowds yell out, "Wimp!"

A large ugly troll that gives new meaning to the word Ugly strolls into the arena to 10n20e. Fugly readies his big greatclub for whoever comes in next for Neutral. Unlike the normal trolls of the forests, this one is night black and a lot beefier.

Round 894: A bright blue crab, 20 feet tall and 30 feet in diameter, with a carapace covered with strange glowing runes and a round hatch on its underbelly, enters the arena.

It charges to 0N45E and grabs the puny troll with its claw. (Rolled 40, 59 vs 33 Grp)

Fugly takes 26 and is constricted for 28 more. He has 38 hp left.

Fugly weak, crab tough. Fugly no hit. (Highest roll 25-4) Fugly has 43 hp left.

Round 895: Fugly notice crab has four claws, not two. Crab squeeze claw. Fugly lose.

(21 claw + 27 constrict damage).

Next for CE in round 895: a darktentacles. (MM II)

An ugly mass of writhing tentacles glorps into the arena, squeezing into 110n0e (and 115n0e). It seems that CE is synonomous with ugly. Well, except for the succubus of course. And an ex-girlfriend of mine from high school, but we won't get into that.

Ahem, so anyway the dark tentacles, which we'll call Karen for no particular reason, attempt to Hold the crab. Karen will also like to remind Psybo about the darkness and slurpy floor.

I'm not sure that Karen can see the crab through the darkness, but the spell doesn't work anyway (no save required).

Round 896: The crab moves to 90N45E.

Is the crab not held up by the pit? No matter, though. Karen moves the fat part of her big butt to the east (no longer squeezing as a move action). Karen then seals off her corner of the arena, putting up a wall of force up from 100n0e to 115n15e (20ft long from the north wall to the western edge), to a height of 50ft. After that she will delay in case that stupid crab can somehow get through the wall, but she's going for the draw.
