That move would take Billy into the darkness, so he would have to make a double move instead of breath this round.

I would normally adjust Billy's position, but this time I may inadvertantly interfere with Billy's strategy.

The darkness is 20 foot radius, centered at 50N40E. The slug is adjacent to the darkness. (20 foot square at 10N40E)

That move would be fine, but then the slug would be out of range of Billy's breath (20-foot cone). Billy could be at 45N25E5Z and breathe.

Billy breathes at the slug, who manages to dodge the cold somewhat (29 Ref save), taking 6 points of cold damage. The slug has 459 HP remaining.

Round 904

The slug moves to 20N40E and spits acid at Billy for 49 points of damaeg. Billy has 27 HP remaining.

Billy starts hovering. Can he breathe yet? If so, he breathes. If not, he hovers to 75n15e10z.

OOC: Is the slug vuln. to cold? Did the chimera get concealment from the spit?

The slug does not appear to be vulnerable to cold. I took the darkness into account when the slug spit.

Billy cannot breathe yet.

As Billy hovers away, the slug touches him, dealing 57 points of acid damage. Billy teleports away before hitting the ground.

The slug is at 20N40E, and has 459 HP.

Next in round 904 for Chaotic Evil is a hooded pupil ettin (Libris Mortis).

A large creature with two heads walks into the arena to 0n0e and walks up the wall to 0n0e30z. He has a dark gray hood covering both heads, two morningstars strapped to his side, and two javelins strapped to his back. If he survives a second round, he will go up to 70z and then to 110z, hoping that the slug cannot spit that far. If you don't have stats for him, let me know what you might need before this is a draw (he's spider climbing).
