CE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Howling Dragon vs. Thunder Worm

Round 905

The slug moves to 10N40E and squirts acid at the giant, inflicting 49 points of acid damage.

I am assuming the giant survives (it most likely has more HP than the slug's last opponent. In that case, a draw is declared in the middle of round 910.

Next in round 910 for Chaotic Evil is a quth-maren (Fiend Folio).

The giant has more than 49hp, so it survives.

A reddish humanoid with whtie markings enters the arena, walking calmly to 0n25e. It's not until he approaches more closely that observers realize he's red due to a lack of skin. The "redness" is actually blood-engorged muscular tissue and the white markings are bits of bones showing through the tissue as the revolting creature moves. In fact, the quth-maren is so disgusting that his name could only be George Steinbrenner. The Boss readies his horrifying gaze on anyone coming within 30ft (which would then require two saves). He secretly hopes that Billy Martin comes out.

Round 911

The second biggest, no, make that the biggest, centipede, you have ever seen charges into the arena to 10N30E. It takes up a forty foot square, has enormous mandibles, and is covered with dense orange and brown bristles.

The centipede ignores George's gaze, knowing that George cannot hurt it because George is not its boss. It bites George, inflicting 35 points of damage. The centipede takes 1 point of acid damage from the contact, and has 399 HP remaining. George has 30 HP remaining.

George will say, "You're fired, Billy." Then he'll hock a loogie and spit some blood on the centipede. He'll follow that up with some slam attacks if there are any.

Next!

Ptooie! The blood hits Billy easily, like the broad side of a megapede. Billy takes 9 points of damage and has 390 hp left. George heals to 34 hp and can spit again in round 913.

Round 912: Billy claws George twice for 35 total. George is destroyed!

Next for CE in round 912: a nimblewright. (MM II)

Another golden-shelled, rapier-hands construct enters the arena, this one at 115n35e. Edward Scissorhands casts haste and wonders if the centipede realizes what is about to happen.

OOC: Two questions. (1) Is the Wall of force (that I forgot about until now at work when I saw the map I had here) gone? (2) Is the centipede at all hampered by the darkness or softened pit? It seems to be, but I have no idea about its speed. It seems really fast though. :)

Wow. Edward is not happy about this so he will spring attack to 115n30e, put his dodge on the megapede (+1 AC) attack with full combat expertise and defensively (-9 attack, +5 CE AC, +3 tumble defensive AC), continue moving to 110n25e and finally to 60n25e (just into the darkness).
