A snake-chick slithers into the arena to 0n10e. Latoya readies to charm any opponent coming from the east and within range.
Round 901
A gargantuan, hardened lava formation shuffles into the arena to 10N80E. It looks like a slug made out of black granite, and it has a distinct odor of ammonia. Latoya can feel the heat radiating from it.
Latoya is too far from the slug to use her readied action.

Latoya takes the AoO, despite the obvious danger. Let us know how that turns out before Latoya's next action. Btw, is the bathroom slug really at 5n (in Latoya's Space)?

Balls! That was a nice scimitar!
Latoya will bite the lava slug defensively, putting 5 points into combat expertise, apply her dodge to it and then try to climb the wall to 20z, taking advantage of her mobility. She secretly hopes she misses, but her AC will be 22+5+2+1+4=34 for the AoO, if she succeeds on the climb check (+8 racial +4 STR).

Latoya starts climbing the wall (27 climb check). As Latoya tries to climb the wall, the slug touches her, inflicting 39 points of acid damage. (Why the +2 to AC? The slug hit anyway, but I cannot figure out the +2.) Latoya falls to the ground (climb check 18). She has 28 HP remaining.

The slug squirts acid on Latoya, inflicting 52 points of acid damage. There is not much of Latoya remaining before she is teleported out of the arena.
The slug is at 10N40E and unharmed.
Next in round 903 for Chaotic Evil is a chimera (Monster Manual).
