Dust Lizard claws Brutus with an AoO (rolled 28). Apparently sand particles don't depend on sight. Brutus takes 18-10=8 and has 31 hp left.

Round 618: Dust Lizard claws and bites Brutus for a total of 39-20=19. Brutus has 12 hp left.

The Dust Lizard is at 65n20e and Brutus is at 50n40e when he casts darkness. Does the lizard have 15ft reach? Moreover, assuming Brutus was clawed, did he make his concentration check and then move? Can I change the position given the new information on the AoO? He obviously would not move to the same spot.

Oh, duh. :o That was merely poorly planned movement. I didn't mean to move next to the lizard.

In that case, after Popeye shouts a few commands, Brutus will delay until Popeye teleports to 70n15e. Brutus then steps to 70n35e and attacks with (hopefully) flanking.

I figured that the blood pouring from his wounds, or the fact that the lizard attacked in that direction would work. :) Can he get a spot check maybe to see where the lizard attacked and piece things together? I suppose he's not too smart, but hey, it can't hurt to ask.

If not, Brutus will step and attack and then Popeye will teleport to flanking position.

Round 618: Brutus steps to 70N35E and claws twice for 17-10=7 total. Dust Lizard has 35 hp left. Popeye teleports to 70N15E.

Round 619: Dust Lizard claws and bites Brutus for 31-20=11 total. Brutus has 1 hp left.

OOC: They all have DR/magic so doesn't that mean that DR doesn't apply? Sorry, I just realized it now. It's because of this line: "Such creatures’ natural weapons (but not their attacks with weapons) are treated as magic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction."
