CE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Howling Dragon vs. Thunder Worm

Oops. Noir is not happy about that. Sensing somehow that he can't outrun the beast, he'll blast it with a line of acid and then step back to 0n5e and give out his battle cry:

Not in the Face!

I like the battle cry, although the lizard is not impressed by it.

The lizard dodges the acidic blast (20 Ref save), but still takes 9 points of damage.

Round 691

The lizard heals to full health. The lizard charges to 5N15E and bites Noir nine times, none in the face, for a total of 101 points of damage. Noir is a noir spot on the ground.

Next in round 691 for Chaotic Evil is a lesser varrangoin (Fiend Folio). Its breath weapon is a cone of cold. We will have to research to find out how often it can use its breath weapon. I cannot find anything in the text to indicate that. My guess is it will not matter because it will probably seek a draw, anyway.

A draw is declared in the middle of round 696.

Next in round 696 for Chaotic Evil is a half-earth elemental minotaur (Manual of the Planes). Gansk is in charge of this battle unless someone E-mails me stats for the minotaur.

Unless you tell me ahead of time what books to bring, I don't bring all my books to work with me (leaving them in my car of course and sneaking out to go look up some stats). I don't have Libris Mortis (forgot it, d'oh!) or MotP with me. I might get to it later when I get home and I'll post relevant stats in an sblock.

Manny Ramirez struts into the arena to 70n20e and grips a greataxe in two, massive hands. Man-Ram looks like your typical minotaur, but with a thicker, stone-colored body and dark gray hair. He concentrates with possibly no outward effect.

Stats: [sblock] As minotaur but with +3 natural armor, immune to disease, +4 racial Fort. vs poison
Str +4, Dex -2, Con +4
Listen +12, Spot +12 (other skills irrelevant)
[/sblock]

Concentration: [sblock] Soften Earth and Stone at 6th level from 60n30e to 90n50e.[/sblock]

Thank you for the information. Manny looks like he is quite the hitter, but at the expense of defense.

Regarding the concentration:

[Sblock]Darkness, and now this?[/sblock]
Round 697

A large boar with bloodshot eyes and three-foot long tusks tries charging Manny, but starts slipping at 70N45E, and comes to rest there.

OOC: Where's the darkness? I forgot all about it. :)

Man-Ram moves around the pit to 85n50e (if the darkness is south) or 55n50e (if the darkness is north).

The darkness is a twenty foot radius circle with the center at 50N40E. Manny is at 85N50E.

Round 698

The boar backs out of the loose dirt and moves to 75N50E. Manny takes the opportunity to hack at the boar, but his axe does not penetrate the boar's tough hide (rolled 21).

The boar slashes with its tusks (rolled 39) for 15 points of damage. Manny has 36 HP remaining.

Man-Ram considers backing out to go take a leak behind the Green Monster but realizes there are no green monsters currently in the arena. The troll already left. Instead, he hacks away at the boar, not bothering with power attack since he has trouble hitting - unlike the real Man-Ram of course. Time compress?
