CE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Howling Dragon vs. Thunder Worm

Time-compress on. There is a big wall behind Manny, but it is not green, so Manny is somewhat confused.

Manny seems to be in a slump (best roll 22), not connecting on any of his three attacks.

Round 699

The boar stomps with two hooves and slashes with tusks (worst roll 21) for a total of 32 points of damage. Manny has 4 HP remaining.

Manny misses three times (best roll 23)

Round 700: The boar hits three times for 29. Maybe if Manny is resurrected, he can start a new career with Vladimir. The boar is unharmed and at 75N50E.

Next in round 700 for Chaotic Evil is an umbral displacer beast (Libris Mortis). I will need help if you want me to help moderate this combat.

A ghostly displacer beast moves along the ground to 75n35e, charging with a strength-draining touch attack on the rhino. GDB puts his Dodge on the rhino.
[sblock] As displacer beast with the following changes:
undead, incorporeal, augmented magical beast
HD 6d12 (39hp)
Spd fly 40 perfect
AC 10 (-1 size, +1 deflection)
BAB +3
(Full)Atk incorporeal touch +7 (1d8 strength to living creatures)
Space 10, Reach 5 (10 with incorporeal touch -- which begs the question as to why they mention 5, but then again it says Face and not Space)
Create Spawn - but who cares in this arena
Saves Fort +2 Ref +6 Will +7 [/sblock]

The boar is relieved that the beast is dodging the rhino. :)

The beast misses (natural 1).

I will time compress, given that the boar has no chance to damage the beast.

Round 701

The boar moves into the sand to 70N45E, and its tusks go right through the beast.

The beast hits (18 incorporeal touch) for 5 points of Strength damage. The boar is down to 22 Strength.

Round 702: Three of the boars attacks go right through the beast.
The beast touches the boar for 5 more Strength damage. The boar is down to 17 Strength.

Round 703: The boar goes on the defensive, while trying to hide in the darkness at 50N45E. As the boar moves away, the beast misses (11 incorporeal touch).
The beast follows, and reaches in and touches the boar in the heart (natural 20, 25 to confirm crit), dealing 12 points of Strength damage. The boar is down to 5 Strength.

The beast is in the Hall of Fame! :)

Round 704: The beast misses because of the darkness.
Round 705: The beast misses.
Round 706: The beast misses.
Round 707: The beast drains 1 point of Strength. Boar down to 4 Strength.
Round 708: The beast drains the boar into motionlessness. The beast is located at 60N40E.

Round 709

A gargantuan scorpion comes in, and flees in round 711 after it cannot do anything. The beast is still at 60N40E.

Round 711

Long and low to the ground, the draconic creature has the bulk and strength of a true dragon but a feline grace all its own. It seems to wink erratically in and out of sight, and its gray scales cast back light in incongruous patterns, reflecting glints of light at odd times and angles.

The large dragon walks over to 20N70E. The beast disappears (84% ignore chance; rolled 11 Will save).

Next in round 711 for Chaotic Evil is a plague blight (Libris Mortis). Once again, a monster from a book I do not have. Thanks for all your help with that, Infiniti.

There was a dire rhinoceros in this arena four creatures before the boar. There was a rhinoceros made out of stone and dirt in the Hades Arena just before the hook horror.

A man-sized, bloating hunk of flesh walks into the arena on two legs. He looks wrapped in twine and other things, as if those things hold the rolling folds of decaying flesh and rotted meat together. He moves to 20n25e and readies a fist.
[sblock] Undead HD 6d12+6 45 hp (IMproved Toughness)
Spd 30
AC 23 (+5 Dex, +8 Nat)
BAB +3, Grapple +7
Atk +7 melee (1d6+6 plus gangrenous touch) -- 1d6+8 vs. Good
DR 5/slashing, 1/2 damage from physical attacks (applied before the DR as specifically noted)
Saves Fort +2, Ref +7, Will +7
Gangrenous Stench - 10ft radius, Fort DC 15 or 1d6 Strength damage plus nauseated (no limited on this noted, nor does it specify that those making the save are further immune to it)
Gangrenous touch - disease, immediate (no incubation period), DC 15 Fort or 1d4 Con per round (if no save), removed only by remove disease or two successful saves in a row
He has Tumble +14, btw [/sblock]

Round 712

The dragon disappears and reappears at 20N30E, and appears to withstand the stench (rolled 29 Fort save).

Pork Roast takes a readied swing, but cannot penetrate scales (rolled 17).

The dragon claws twice, bites, and slaps with its tail for a total of 13 points of damage (the tail inflicted no damage). Pork Roast has 32 HP remaining.

Round 713

The amazingly quick dragon attacks again before Pork Roast has a chance to. It swings harder this time, hitting with bite, one claw, both wings, and its tail, for a total of 17 points of damage (the wings did no damage). Pork Roast has 15 HP remaining.

The dragon withstands the stench (17 Fort save). Pork Roast is next in round 713.

Tempo Drake has a tough noggin (rolled 21).

Round 714

Tempo Drake bites, claws, and wing buffets for a total of 15 points of damage. Pork Roast is done. Tempo Drake is unharmed, and standing at 20N30E.

Next in round 714 for Chaotic Evil is a phthisic (Expanded Psionics Handbook). The danger lies in trying to pronounce its name.

Alberon the Phtisic slides into the arena 35n20e - it is a 10'tall humanoid with dagger like claws and fangs, it is dripping with hoarfrost. It resembles a twisted old man, with a carefully cut wound in its chest revealing a cavity where its heart should be.

It tries to bite at the blinking dragon thing. A chittering fills the air as a mental barrier fades in to block the drakes attacks (immediate action, used every round)

note: apperance and name from this creatures use in my own game...
