Wolf at the Door cannot penetrate the tough hide of the lizard (rolled 15). When Wolfie appears, the lizard takes its readied attacks and bites Wolfie nine times (best missing roll 22; worst hitting roll 24) for a total of 93-45=48 points of damage. Wolfie is defeated before he can become incorporeal.
